Ready for a "Routine Reset?"

Right now, I'm deep in back-to-school mode.

Buying school supplies. Making sure the kids have haircuts, gym shoes, and clothes that fit. Scheduling doctor's appointments, fall extracurriculars, and volunteer opportunities...

In just a few weeks, my daily schedule will look radically different than it does now.

Everyone will wake up and go to bed MUCH earlier. The house will be quieter (which sounds nice!), BUT it's because I won't have my big helpers around to help watch the toddler while I work.

The rhythms and routines I've adapted over the summer simply won't work once the school year rolls back around.

It's time to reassess and plan for my new reality.

Whether your kids are heading back to school, off to college for the first time, or you're just ready for a change, I'd love to invite you to reassess your fall rhythms too -- starting with your Bible reading routine.

If you haven't been getting into God's Word as consistently as you'd like lately, I have just the thing to change that.

On Thursday, August 20th, I'm hosting a brand new, live, hands-on workshop called Read God's Word: How to Create a Bible Reading Routine You Actually Stick With.

And I want you to join me.

If you've been struggling to read your Bible as consistently as you'd like lately, it's not because you're a failure. You probably just need an updated plan that works for your life right now. And I'm going to help you create one.

In less than an hour, you'll have a custom-made plan that works for YOU and a whole lot of confidence that you CAN read God's Word consistently (even if you haven't in the past).

We'll walk through your actual schedule, your natural rhythms, and what's realistic for this season, and then build your plan together so you're all set.

Plus, it'll be a lot of fun. :)

Several years ago, I decided I wanted to get in the habit of reading the Bible with my kids. And lets just say... it was not going according to plan. Before I could read a word, my son RAN from the room, curled up in a corner, covered his ears, and started humming loudly so he couldn't hear me. "No! The Bible is boring!" Ignoring his overly dramatic, attention-seeking antics, I read a chapter of Acts out loud anyway. Each morning, I'd read one chapter, explaining as I went. Until one morning...

A while back, I did a little experiment. I logged into Instagram, started scrolling, and made a list of allllll the things I felt like I "should" be doing. I *should* eat healthier. I *should* exercise. I *should* figure out how to do my hair. I *should* do more crafts with my kids. I *should* be better at talking to my husband... In almost no time at all, I had a list of 20+ things I wanted to do, learn, or improve at. These weren't even pushy, shame-y accounts. (I don't follow those.) Just...

What if you woke up tomorrow and somehow had plenty of time for everything that matters most to you? You could start your day in prayer and Scripture, hit the gym for a sweaty workout, write in your gratitude journal, and/or enjoy a delicious, healthy breakfast. You could spend hours on work that's meaningful, where you feel capable and confident you're making a real difference. You could spend time making memories with the people who matter most to you. You could pursue the hobbies that...
